In the final month of 2025, what is captivating your mind and heart?
What has been surprising you as of late?

As I prepare myself to leave the Asheville / Western North Carolina area this week, though my path ahead has some clear steps over the next couple months, it is far from crystal clear.
There’s no special precognitive capacities I’ve been granted for the future, only a refined skillfulness to tune into each step as I’m guided by the Great Mystery.
“Jump and the net will appear.”
The initial freefall can sure feel frightening… or enlivening, depending upon the viewpoint.
There have been moments when I’ve questioned my sanity, for surely many therapists could squeeze me into diagnostic criteria for this or that “disorder.”
Chaos gets a bad rep.
Yet it’s a pre-requisite to any alchemical refinement worth its future weight in gold.
Without shaking things up, a certain rigidity sets. And also… as the separation process occurs it’s possible to see what is valuable and what’s just excessive dross that’s limiting possibility.
The spiritual growth process does NOT even inherently look “spiritual.” Shadow work and transmutation can look anything but at times.
One day I’ll perhaps share more about a Shadow project I’ve engaged in this year… working in the casino on the Cherokee reservation, providing tableside massage to players during the World Series of Poker.
If you know me, that would probably seem super out of character, yeah?
However, there have been some very powerful lessons to come from this. Within the past couple days, I have come to see it as “missionary” work. Radical.
In fact, the next phase I am embarking upon is centered in mission-based work.
As I travel back towards Colorado for an important work project in mid-February, I’m making stops along the way to provide service.
